Sun Valley Shutters & Shades has been a prominent Wood River Valley business since 1980. In our unique and spacious showroom, customers can see for themselves how each potential window treatment might work in their own home. We have a diverse product line and represent over 30 different manufacturers, many exclusively. As the area’s only authorized Hunter Douglas “Showcase Dealer,” we offer the exclusive Alustra Collection, an exciting new line of upgraded window coverings.

From the simplest shades, shutters, blinds and awnings to the most sophisticated motorized system, Sun Valley Shutters & Shades leads the way. Our treatments can be fully integrated with home automation systems for the ultimate in convenience and efficiency. In partnership with our sister store, Fox Creek Interiors, we can custom design any window treatment for any decor.

We pride ourselves on the ultimate customer service. A full-time scheduler will take your call and place your request with our factory-trained installers who are ready to go to work in our fleet of fully-equipped vans. From design and installation through follow-up and maintenance, we want your experience to be totally professional. We promise to be there when you need us.

Locally owned and actively managed by Susan and Eric Seder, Sun Valley Shutters & Shades is happy to work on all types and sizes of projects, from a few mini-blinds in your condo to the largest commercial and residential systems. Measuring, consultation and specifications are normally provided at no cost, unless the size of the project demands a deposit. We are happy to work outside of the area as well, and have provided services throughout the United States.
